Christian Boltanski, talking about his work, "Dead Swiss", said that when you remove people's names you remove their identities. The child in this found photograph is anonymous but she leaves behind this image as a trace of her existence. The photograph is the subject of a current piece of work in which I will be reconstructing the image from an alternative perspective.
